MSDP Configuration Commands

The term "router" in this document refers to a router in the generic sense or a Layer 3 switch running
MSDP.

Description
Use the cache-sa-enable command to enable the SA cache mechanism to cache the (S, G) entries
contained in SA messages.
Use the undo cache-sa-enable command to disable the SA cache mechanism.
By default, the SA cache mechanism is enabled, that is, the device caches the (S, G) entries contained
in SA messages received.
Examples
# Enable the SA message cache mechanism in the public instance so that the device caches the (S, G)
entries contained in SA messages received.
