RESTORE PROCEDURES
The restore procedures vary according to the type of Control Station in the system.

Restore Procedure on V1/V2 Control Stations
1. From the Browser, launch the Service Desktop (see

3. Click the Restore button: the Restore screen like the following appears.
4. Select the appropriate restore procedure: you can restore separate sub-system data (AWS, IDC, or
Senographe) as required.
5. Select the data source (Backup1 or Backup 2 on the AWS disk or 3.5" floppy).
6. If you are restoring from a floppy drive, insert the diskette containing the backup data into the drive
on the AWS unit. To access the floppy drive, remove the Control Station front cover and pull back
the AWS unit.
7. Click the START button to proceed, and wait for restore completion.
8. A message indicating successful completion appears at the end of the restore procedure.
9. If the IDC data has been restored, the IDC must be rebooted. See section 8-3-1.
10. If the restore is not completed successfully, check the following:
That the backup source is functioning correctly (AWS or floppy disk).
That communication is correct between the AWS and the sub-system being restored.
