Job Card D/R A141 - Image Receptor/Digital Detector
Never allow the mass of the detector to fall onto its alignment pins while the securing
screws are not fitted.
7. Remove the lower two of the four Detector securing screws (9)
(5 mm allen wrench).
8. While one person holds the detector against its alignment pins on
the interface plate, the other removes the two upper securing
screws (9) to hold it in position (5 mm allen wrench).
9. Remove the detector by pulling it backwards from its guides.
10. Place the defective Detector on a stable stand.
WARNING
Drain all coolant from the detector before it is stored or shipped. Shipping a detector
which contains coolant may cause irreparable damage. This is especially important in win-
ter, when there is a danger of freezing.
WARNING
Note:
The removed Digital Detector must be packed in the appropriate engineering-designed shipping
crate. Digital Detectors that are not correctly packed and shipped have to be replaced at a high
cost for the company.

Reassembly of the Digital Detector
1. To reinstall the Digital Detector, follow the procedure given in section
Detector on page
2. To align the Bucky correctly on the new Digital Detector, refer to section
Bucky on page
1339.

Top Up with Conditioner Fluid
Check the conditioner fluid level and top up as necessary

Proceed as follows
CAUTION
When performing any of the following procedures, be careful to avoid spillage of coolant,
especially onto or near electrical connections. If any coolant is spilled, it must be cleaned
up immediately.
