Job Card D/R A141 - Image Receptor/Digital Detector

1 SUPPLIES
Digital Detector and its floppy disk / CD-ROM with parameters.
Order the digital detector according to your system configuration and country as summarized in the table
below.
System Version
New system with a Failure On Installation (FOI).
All existing systems in the field that have
received FMI12075DS or have ADS version
32.05 or later (manufactured from July 2006).
All existing systems in the field that have ADS
version 32.04 or earlier (manufactured before
July 2006), and that did not receive
FMI12075DS.
Note: If 2383172-3 is no longer available, then apply FMI12075DS and order the FRU corresponding to the
country in which the system is located.
FOI=Failure on Installation
! Notice:
When investigating a Detector problem, never attempt to open a defective Detector and never at-
tempt to remove the Detector carbon top cover.
If you open a defective Detector or remove the Detector carbon top cover, the Detector warranty
is void and the repair center will not take the responsibility to repair the Detector.

4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
- Power off the Gantry before disconnecting or working on the Digital Detector.
- If the casing is punctured, wear protective gloves and dust masks when removing the
detector. Send the protective items for disposal along with the defective detector.
- The Digital Detector is cumbersome. Two people are required for its removal and installa-
