14. A Date and Time screen appear with some existing date and time settings.

Proceed as follows:

If the date and time settings are incorrect, use the Up or Down arrow keys to move to the field to
be modified (as applicable). Type in the correct value, then press <Return> to confirm the new
value and move to the next field. When you are happy with the date and time settings, press the
<F2> key to continue.

If the date and time settings are correct, press the <F2> key to continue.
15. The Root Password screen appears allowing you to change the current root password for the Acqui-
sition Workstation from the default value of operator.
On this screen, you can create a root password .....

If you wish to change it, type in the new password and press the <Return> key when done. The
password you type is not displayed. The default password for root is operator.
Note:
Ensure that the caps-lock key is not engaged before entering the password.
If you change the password, the system asks you to re-enter the new password. If there is a differ-
ence between the two entries, the system will request it again.
When the password has been correctly changed, or if you press <Return> without changing the
password, the system reboots. Log in to the system according to
