Job Card DIAG A1000 - Gantry Diagnostic
5. If the error persists after the steps above,
remove the top plate of the tube (5) then try to
turn the motor shaft (6) by hand. The move-
ment of the motor shaft is either easy or diffi-
cult:
If the manual movement of the motor shaft is
easy:
- Check the motor connection and optical
fork connection.
- Check the optical fork mask.
- If all checked parts are good, change the
optical fork.
- If the error persists, change the tube tilt
board (see Job Card D/R A266 - Tube Tilt
Board on page
- If the error persists, change the tube tilt
motor (see Job Card D/R A265 - Tilt Motor
and Drive Assembly on page
If the manual movement of the motor shaft is difficult:
- Remove the X-ray tube. Check the mechanical links, and ensure that critical mechanical parts are
properly greased. Reinstall the X-ray tube.
- If the error persists, change the tube tilt mechanism assembly (without motor) (see
A265 - Tilt Motor and Drive Assembly on page

Diagnostic for:
132/028 error code (CAN code is 0x5026) overcurrent error
• First make a visual check of the motor cabling and the connection to the tilt board.
• Disconnect cable W404 fromTilt Board connector J3. Check for short circuits between the pins of the
cable connector.
• Measure the motor coil impedances. The impedance must measure 2 ohm between the blue and
pink wires, and 2 ohm between the yellow and red wires.
• If the measured resistance is good, change the tube tilt board (see
Board on page 1365) and check the movements.
• If the error persists change the Tilt Motor unit (see
bly on page 1361).
