3. Use ORA Wipes (or equivalent) cloths for removing the grease from the Leadscrew. Rotate the ORA
Wipes cloth around the Leadscrew and rotate Lead Screw by other hand along the entire length of
the Leadscrew as shown below.
Take care not to use the type of cloth wipes that could disintegrate, since the loosened threads or
particles may get mixed with the grease.
4. Repeat these steps above several times until the Leadscrew is cleaned. A well cleaned Leadscrew
looks like that shown below.
