12. Release the Arm slowly downwards and let it drop down.
If the Arm stays at its current position or moves from its original position and stops at a distance of
at least 2 cm (0.79 inches) above the bottom Gantry baseplate (see illustration 10), the Lift Gas
Spring is in good condition and does not need changing.
