Remove the SMB cover completely from the base.

DANGER
Make sure that all supplies for electrical power,
hydraulic pressure, and air pressure are turned
off.
ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD)
The unit is sensitive to ESD. Before handling the
unit read the safety information in section

Disconnect the battery cable.
Remove the battery pack by cutting the cable
strap.
