This following table defines what cleaning methods are allowed for ABB
manipulators depending on the protection type.

rinsing with water (water cleaner).

Cleaning agent to be tested on a small surface prior usage on complete manipulator.
• Spray nozzle should be used with minimum 45° spread.
• Minimum distance from nozzle to encapsulation: 0.4 m.
• Maximum water pressure at the nozzle: 700 kN/m
• Maximum flow: 20 liters/min
• Never point the nozzle at the following positions (example images):
