MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (DIAGNOSTICS)
8. Inspection Mode
A: PROCEDURE
WARNING:
When actually driving the vehicle, follow all
road laws and regulations.
1) Call out the self diagnosis DTC. <Ref. to 6MT(di-
ag)-21, WHEN USING THE DIAGNOSIS INDICA-
TOR LIGHT, OPERATION, Read Diagnostic
Trouble Code (DTC).>
2) Step on the brake pedal and release the brake
pedal.
3) Operate the manual mode switch at least once,
and change to manual mode.
4) Release the parking brake, turn the center differ-
ential control dial from the differential lock to differ-
ential free and back to the differential lock position,
then wait for three seconds at differential lock posi-
tion.
5) With the car parked, shift the gear into 1st gear,
then to neutral.
