Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.
Configures an ATM interface or subinterface type. The no version removes the interface
or subinterface.
NOTE: On the OC3-2 GE APS I/O module, you can configure only OC3/STM1
ATM interfaces in ports 0 and 1. Port 2 is reserved for a Gigabit Ethernet
interface.
interfaceSpecifier—Particular interface; format varies according to interface type; see
Interface Types and Specifiers on page 5
multipoint—Specifies an NBMA subinterface
point-to-point—Specifies an ATM interface or subinterface; default
