Cause
L3-01 = 3 [Stall Prevent Select duringAccel = ILim Mode]
has been set.
The motor is rotating at the following speed:
b2-01 [DC Injection/Zero SpeedThreshold] ≤ Motor Speed
< E1-09 [Minimum Output Frequency]

Sound from Motor

Cause
Exceeded 100% of the rated output current of the drive
while operating at low speeds.

Motor Does Not Restart after Power Loss

Cause
The Run command was not issued again when power was
restored.
When running based on the 3-wire sequence, the
momentary power loss lasted a long time, so the relay that
is supposed to maintain the Run command has been
switched off.

6.10 Troubleshooting without Fault Display
Possible Solution
1. Check whether the V/f pattern and motor parameter settings are
appropriate, and set them correctly.
2. If this does not solve the problem, and it is not necessary to limit the
current level of stall during acceleration, adjust L3-02.
3. If this does not solve the problem, set L3-01 = 1 [General Purpose].
• Set b1-21 = 1 [CLV Start Selection = Accept Run command at any
speed].
• Set the value of E1-09 lower than the value of b2-01.
Possible Solution
• If the sound is coming from the motor, set L8-38 = 0 [Carrier Frequency
Reduction = Disabled].
• If oL2 [Drive Overloaded] occurs frequently after setting L8-38 = 0,
replace the drive with a high-capacity one.
Possible Solution
• Check the sequence and wiring that has been set up to enter the Run
command.
• A relay should be set up to make sure the Run command remains enabled
throughout any power loss.
Check wiring and circuitry for the relay intended to keep the Run command
enabled throughout the momentary power loss ride-thru time.
