6.5 Minor Faults/Alarms
Code
Name
Note:
• Detected if the DC bus voltage fluctuates abnormally while the motor is stopped. (Detected when L8-05 = 1 [Input Phase Loss Protect
Select = Enabled] is set)
• If detected, H2-xx = 10 [MFDO Function Select = Minor Fault] will be ON.
• Use L8-05 [Input Phase Loss Protect Select] to enable/disable PF detection.
Code
Name
PGo
PG Disconnect
Note:
• Detected if no PG pulses for speed detection are received for a time longer than setting in F1-14 [PG Open-Circuit Detection Time].
• If detected, H2-xx = 10 [MFDO Function Select = Minor Fault] will be ON.
• If detected, the drive will operate the motor according to the stop method set in F1-02 [PG Feedback Loss Selection].
Code
Name
PGoH
PG Hardware Fault
Note:
• If detected, H2-xx = 10 [MFDO Function Select = Minor Fault] will be ON.
• If detected, the drive will operate the motor according to the stop method set in F1-02 [PG Feedback Loss Selection].
Code
Name
rUn
Motor Switch during Run
Note:
If detected, H2-xx = 10 [MFDO Function Select = Minor Fault] will be ON.
Code
Name
SE
MEMOBUS/Modbus
Comm TestMode Err
Note:
If detected, H2-xx = 10 [MFDO Function Select = Minor Fault] will be ON.
Code
Name
STo
Safe Torque OFF
Note:
• If detected, H2-xx = 10 [MFDO Function Select = Minor Fault] will be ON.
• If detected, the drive will operate the motor according to the stop method set in b5-12 [Feedback Loss Detection Select].

Cause
The main circuit capacitors are worn.
Cause
The encoder cable is improperly wired
or disconnected.
Power supply is not being supplied to
the encoder.
The holding brake is being applied to
the motor.
Cause
The encoder cable is disconnected.
Cause
Motor 2 Selection [H1-xx = 16] was
input during run.
Cause
The MEMOBUS/Modbus
communications self-diagnostics [H1-xx
= 67] were executed while the drive
was running.
Cause
Both Safe Disable inputs H1-HC and
H2-HC are open.
Both two Safe Disable channels are
internally damaged.

Possible Solution
Check U4-05 [CapacitorMaintenance], and
perform maintenance on the drive if its value
exceeds 90%.
• Check for any problems with the input power.
• The alarm occurs frequently despite there being
no problem with the power supply, replace the
board or the drive. For more information on
replacing the control board, contact Yaskawa or
your nearest sales representative.
Possible Solution
Check for any wiring errors or disconnected wires
in the encoder cable, and fix any problems.
Check the encoder power supply.
Release the holding brake.
Possible Solution
Correct any disconnected wires in the encoder
cable.
Possible Solution
Review the sequence to ensure that Motor 2
Selection is input while the drive is stopped.
Possible Solution
Stop the drive and perform the MEMOBUS/
Modbus communications self-diagnostics.
Possible Solution
• Check whether the Safe Disable signal is input
from an external source to terminal H1-HC or
H2-HC.
• Link terminals HC, H1, and H2 if the Safe
Disable function does not disable the drive or is
not used.
Replace the board or the entire drive. For
instructions on replacing the control board, contact
Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.
