Zero Servo Fault
Note:
• Detected if motor rotation position has shifted during Zero Servo.
• Perform Fault Reset to clear the fault.
Code
Name
UL3
Undertorque Detection 1
Note:
• Detected if the drive output current remains below the level set in L6-02 [Torque Detection Level 1] for longer than L6-03 [Torque
Detection Time 1].
• Perform Fault Reset to clear the fault.
• If detected, the drive will operate the motor according to the stop method set in L6-01 [Torque Detection Selection 1].

Undertorque Detection 2
Note:
• Detected if the drive output current remains below the level set in L6-05 [Torque Detection Level 2] for longer than L6-06 [Torque
Detection Time 2].
• Perform Fault Reset to clear the fault.
• If detected, the drive will operate the motor according to the stop method set in L6-04 [Torque Detection Selection 2].

Mechanical Weakening
Detection 2
Note:
• Perform Fault Reset to clear the fault.
• If detected, the drive will operate the motor according to the stop method set in L6-08 [Mechanical Weakening Detect Ope].
294
Cause
The motor code is not set correctly.
The load is too heavy.
The load inertia is too big.
The acceleration/deceleration time is too
short.
Responsiveness is poor.
Cause
The value set in the torque limit is too
small.
The load torque is too large.
Noise interference along the encoder
cable
Cause
A fault occurred on the machine side.
Example: The pulley belt has broken.
The parameters for load are not
appropriate.
Cause
A fault occurred on the machine side.
Example: The pulley belt has broken.
The parameters for load are not
appropriate.
Cause
Undertorque was detected based on the
conditions for mechanical weakening
detection set in L6-08 [Mechanical
Weakening Detect Ope].

Possible Solution
• Set E5-01 [PM Motor Code Selection] correctly
based on the motor being used.
• In the case of a specialized motor, refer to the
test report of the motor and set E5-xx correctly.
• Increase the value set in n8-55 [Load Inertia].
• Increase the value set in n8-51 [Accel / Decel
Pull-In Current].
• Reduce the load.
• Replace the drive and motor with a larger model.
Increase the value set in n8-55 [Load Inertia].
• Increase the value set in C1-01 to C1-08
[Acceleration/Deceleration Time].
• Increase the value set in C2-01 [S-Curve Time @
start of Accel].
Increase the value set in n8-55 [Load Inertia].
Possible Solution
Adjust the torque limit-related parameters L7-01 to
L7-04.
Lower the load torque.
Separate the encoder cable from the source of the
noise such as the drive output line.
Possible Solution
Check the condition of the machine and remove the
cause of the fault.
Adjust L6-02 and L6-03.
Possible Solution
Check the condition of the machine and remove the
cause of the fault.
Adjust L6-05 and L6-06.
Possible Solution
Check whether the machine exhibits any
deterioration.
