A parameters [IInitialization Parameters] set the operating environment and operating conditions for the drive.

A1: Initialization

A1 parameters set the operating environment and operating conditions for the drive. For example, these
parameters set the keypad language, the control method for the drive, and the parameter access level.

Note the following points about the Parameter Access.
• Users cannot change the setting values set in A1-01 to A1-03, A1-06, A1-07, and A2-01 through A2-32 when a
password is set to the drive using A1-04 and A1-05 [Password Setting].
• Parameter settings cannot be changed even if A1-01 = 1, 2, 3 is set when H1-xx [MFDI Function Select] = 1B
[Program Lockout] is OFF, unless H1-xx = 1B is turned ON.
