Test Run Checklist

Go through the following checklist before performing a test run.

Was this manual read thoroughly before starting a test run?

Was the "Wiring Checklist" gone through?

Is the drive energized?

Has the voltage value of the power supply to be used been set to E1-01 [Input AC Supply Voltage]?

Check the necessary items depending on the control method.

WARNING! Sudden Movement Hazard. Properly wire the start/stop and safety circuits before energizing the drive. When

programmed for 3-Wire control, a momentary closure on a digital input terminal could cause the drive to start. Failure to comply

could cause death or serious injury from moving equipment.

Was the optimum V/f pattern selected, based on the application that the motor is to be used for, and its

specifications?

Ex.: if a motor with a rated frequency of 60 Hz is to be used, as a standard V/f pattern, E1-03 = 1 [V/f Pattern

Selection = Constant Trq_60Hz base_60Hz max] is set.

Has F1-01 [PG 1 Pulses Per Revolution] been set?

Have C5-01 [ASR Proportional Gain 1] and C5-02 [ASR Integral Time 1] been set?

Was Rotational Auto-Tuning performed?

Were the motor shaft and machinery decoupled when performing Rotational Auto-Tuning?

Were the following items, which can be found on the motor nameplate, set correctly?

• Motor rated power (kW) → T1-02

• Rated (base) voltage (V) → T1-03

• Rated (base) current (A) → T1-04

• Rated (base) frequency (Hz) → T1-05

• Number of poles → T1-06

• Rated (base) speed (min

Have F1-01 [PG 1 Pulses Per Revolution] and F1-05 [PG 1 Rotation Selection] been set?

Have C5-01 [ASR Proportional Gain 1] and C5-02 [ASR Integral Time 1] been set?

Have E5-01 to E5-24 [PM Motor Parameters] been set?
