Pressure sensor: Removal - Refitting
a Make sure that the sensor is correctly positioned on
the wheel rim:
- (1) : incorrectly fitted,
- (2) : correctly fitted.
a Check that the cup is completely pressed around the
wheel hole.
a Pretighten the nut of the pressure sensor while
keeping the sensor in contact on the bottom of the
wheel rim.
a Torque tighten the pressure sensor nut (8 N.m).

2 - First fitting
a Make sure that the sensor is correctly positioned on
the wheel rim:
- (1) : incorrectly fitted,
- (2) : correctly fitted.
a Refit the seal with the metallic ring on the pressure
sensor.
a Position the pressure sensor in the valve opening,
checking that the seal is attached all around the
edge of the opening.
a Manually tighten the nut whilst gently pressing the
plug towards the centre of the wheel and keeping
the pressure sensor against the rim in order to mod-
ify the valve/sensor angle to the rim profile.
a Torque tighten the pressure sensor nut (8 N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the tyres (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Tyres:
Removal - Refitting, page 35A-11) .
a Balance the wheels (see 35A, Wheels and tyres,
Wheel: Balancing, page 35A-7) .
a Refit the wheels (see 35A, Wheels and tyres,
Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) .
