Set a virtual link and its parameters.

Syntax
area area-id virtual-link router-id [[authentication-key
[encryption-type] key] | [message-digest-key keyid md5
[encryption-type] key]] [dead-interval seconds] [hello-interval
seconds] [retransmit-interval seconds] [transmit-delay seconds]
To delete a virtual link, use the no area area-id virtual-link router-id
command.
To delete a parameter of a virtual link, use the no area area-id virtual-link
router-id [[authentication-key [encryption-type] key] |
[message-digest-key keyid md5 [encryption-type] key]] [dead-
interval seconds] [hello-interval seconds] [retransmit-interval
seconds] [transmit-delay seconds] command syntax.

Specify the OSPF area in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D.) or enter a
number from zero (0) to 65535.
Specify an ID (IP address in dotted decimal format) associated with a
virtual link neighbor.
(OPTIONAL) Choose between two authentication methods:
encryption-
keyid md5
Enter the keywords authentication-key to enable
simple authentication followed by an alphanumeric string up
to eight characters long. Optionally, for the encryption-
type variable, enter the number seven before entering the
key string to indicate that an encrypted password will
follow.
Enter the keywords message-digest-key followed by a
number from 1 to 255 as the keyid. After the keyid, enter
