Because each port can be assigned to only one Port Channel, and each Port Channel must have at least one port, some
of those nominally available Port Channels might have no function because they could have no members if there are not
enough ports installed. In the S-Series, those ports could be provided by stack members.
NOTE: The FTOS implementation of LAG or Port Channel requires that you configure a LAG on both switches
manually. For information about FTOS link aggregation control protocol (LACP) for dynamic LAGs, refer to the

Use the interface port-channel command to access this command.
Information

number information:
For a 100/1000 Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information.
For a Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information.
For a SONET interface, enter the keyword sonet followed by
the slot/port information.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port
information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE followed by the slot/port information.
