Usage
You can enable an unlimited number of RIP networks.
Information
RIP operates over interfaces configured with any address specified by the network
command.

offset-list

Specify a number to add to the incoming or outgoing route metrics learned using RIP.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax
offset-list prefix-list-name {in | out} offset [interface]
To delete an offset list, use the no offset-list prefix-list-name {in | out}
offset [interface] command.
Parameters
prefix-list-name

Introduced on the Z9000.
Introduced on the S4810.
Introduced on the S-Series.
Introduced on the C-Series.
Introduced on the E-Series.
Enter the name of an established Prefix list to determine which
incoming routes will be modified.
Enter a number from zero (0) to 16 to be applied to the incoming route
metric matching the access list specified. If you set an offset value to
zero (0), no action is taken.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number
information:
For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information.
For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-
channel followed by a number. For the C-Series and S-
Series, the range is 1 to 128. For the E-Series, the range is 1 to
255 for TeraScale and 1 to 512 for ExaScale.
For a SONET interface, enter the keyword sonet followed by
the slot/port information.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port
information.
