If you use this command to configure the minimum number of links in a LAG that must be in

"oper up" status, the LAG must have at least that number of "oper up" links before it can be
declared as up. For example, if the required minimum is four, and only three are up, the LAG is
considered down.

This feature groups two LAGs to work in tandem as a supergroup. For example, if one LAG goes

down, the other LAG is taken down automatically, providing an alternate path to reroute traffic,
avoiding oversubscription on the other LAG. You can use both static and dynamic (LACP) LAGs
to configure failover groups. For more information, refer to the "Port Channel" chapter in the
FTOS Configuration Guide .
