Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP)

The Dell Force10 operating software (FTOS) implementation of rapid spanning tree protocol (RSTP) is based on the IEEE
802.1w standard spanning-tree protocol. The RSTP algorithm configures connectivity throughout a bridged local area
network (LAN) that is comprised of LANs interconnected by bridges.
RSTP is supported by FTOS on the C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, or S4810 platforms.
