area { areaId | areaIdInt } default-cost defaultCost
no area { areaId | areaIdInt } default-cost
Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.
Specifies a cost for the default summary route sent into a stub area. A stub area is an
OSPF area that carries a default route, intra-area routes, and interarea routes, but does
not carry external routes. You cannot configure virtual links across a stub area. Stub areas
cannot contain an AS boundary router. The no version removes the configured default
route cost.
areaId—OSPF area ID in IP address format
areaIdInt—OSPF area ID as a decimal value 0–4294967295
defaultCost—Stub area's advertised external route cost (cost metric); an integer in the
range 0–16777215
