Reserved—These bits are reserved and should read 0.
Bits 31–7
3VOLT
3 Volt SIM Card—This bit is used to configure the transmit pin as
Bit 6
bi-directional allowing the Receive pin to be re-used as General
Purpose I/O. This operation is restricted to the 3 V SIM card. In
addition, the MC9328MX1 SIM I/O must operate at 2.7 V in this
mode.
Note:
This bit must not be changed when the receiver or
transmitter is enabled.
SCSP
SIM Card Clock Stop Polarity—Used to control the polarity of the
Bit 5
idle SIM clock when the clock is disabled by SCEN. It will be forced
low by hardware during the auto powerdown sequence. This
forces the clock be a logic 0 when stopped by auto powerdown as
required by the ISO 7816 specification.
SCEN
SIM Card Clock Enable—Used to enable/disable the clock to the
Bit 4
SIM card. It can be forced low by hardware during the auto
powerdown sequence.
SRST
SIM Reset—Used to control the state of the reset line to the SIM
Bit 3
card. It can be forced low by hardware during the auto powerdown
sequence. SIM card reset inputs are active low.
STEN
SIM Card Transmit Enable—Used to enable/disable the XMT
Bit 2
data to the SIM card. It can be forced low by hardware during the
auto powerdown sequence.
