Real-Time Clock (RTC)
Table 23-10. RTC Interrupt Status Register Description (Continued)
Name
SAM2
Sampling Timer Interrupt Flag at SAM2
Bit 10
Frequency—Indicates that an interrupt has occurred. If
enabled, this bit is periodically set at a rate of 16, 15.625, or
18.75 Hz. The actual rate of the interrupt depends on the
input clock value. See Table 23-1.
SAM1
Sampling Timer Interrupt Flag at SAM1
Bit 9
Frequency—Indicates that an interrupt has occurred. If
enabled, this bit is periodically set at a rate of 8, 7.8125, or
9.375 Hz. The actual rate of the interrupt depends on the
input clock value. See Table 23-1.
SAM0
Sampling Timer Interrupt Flag at SAM0
Bit 8
Frequency—Indicates that an interrupt has occurred. If
enabled, this bit is periodically set at a rate of 4, 3.90625, or
4.6875 Hz. The actual rate of the interrupt depends on the
input clock value. See Table 23-1.
2HZ
2 Hz Flag—Indicates that a 2Hz status event has occurred. If
Bit 7
enabled, this bit is set at intervals of every 2 Hz.
Reserved
Reserved—This bit is reserved and should read 0.
Bit 6
HR
Hour Flag—Indicates that the hour counter has
Bit 5
incremented. If enabled, this bit is set on every increment of
the hour counter in the time-of-day clock.
1HZ
1 Hz Flag—Indicates that the second counter has
Bit 4
incremented. If enabled, this bit is set on every increment of
the second counter of the time-of-day clock.
DAY
Day Flag—Indicates that the day counter has incremented.
Bit 3
If enabled, this bit is set on every increment of the day
counter of the time-of-day clock.
ALM
Alarm Flag—Indicates that the real-time clock matches the
Bit 2
value in the alarm registers. Note that the alarm will reoccur
every 512 days. For a single alarm, clear the interrupt enable
for this bit in the interrupt service routine.
MIN
Minute Flag—Indicates that the minute counter has
Bit 1
incremented. If enabled, this bit is set on every increment of
the minute counter in the time-of-day clock.
SW
Stopwatch Flag—Indicates that the stopwatch countdown
Bit 0
timed out.
