Configuring NTP
PTP 820G and PTP 820F support Network Time Protocol (NTP). NTP distributes Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
throughout the system, using a jitter buffer to neutralize the effects of variable latency.
To view and configure the NTP Parameters:
1.
Select Platform > Management > NTP Configuration. The NTP Configuration page opens.

In the Admin field, select Enable.

In the NTP version field, select the NTP version you want to use. Options are NTPv3 and NTPv4. NTPv4
provides interoperability with NTPv3 and with SNTP.
4.
In the NTP server IP address field, enter the IP address of the NTP server.
5.
Click Apply.
