Chapter 12: Alarm Management and Troubleshooting
In addition to adding the ability to configure these alarm thresholds, Release 10.9 adds PMs that indicate, per 15-
minute and 24-hour periods:
The number of seconds the unit was in an undervoltage state during the measured period.
The number of seconds the unit was in an overvoltage state during the measured period.
The lowest voltage during the measured period.
The highest voltage during the measured period.
These PMs are displayed via CLI. For instructions, see Configuring Voltage Alarm Thresholds and Displaying Voltage
Threshold PMs (CLI).
Configuring the Output Alarm
To enable and configure the output alarm:

Select Platform > Management > External Alarms > Output. The External Alarms Output page opens.

In the Admin field, select enable to enable the output alarm or disable to disable the output alarm.

In the Group field, select from a list of alarm groups, or select all groups. When an alarm belonging to the
selected group is raised, the alarm output is triggered. The available alarm groups are:

Communications
o
Quality of Service
o
Processing
o
Equipment
