3 In the Loopback Destination area, select from the following options:

MEP ID – If you select MEP ID, you must enter the MEP ID of the MEP on the interface to which you want
to perform the loopback in the Loopback Messages Destination MEP ID field. If you select MEP ID, the
loopback will only be activated if CCMs have already been received from the MEP. For this reason, it is
recommended to initiate loopback via MAC address.
