Configuring a Network Edge Node in a Dual Homing Configuration
(CLI)
For a tunnel that is to be used as the network edge node in a 1+1 Dual Homing configuration, you must use the
following command in pwe3 view to enable the propagation of defects to the service's end point:
pwe3> pwe3 tunnel prop-tdm-defect-to-soam admin enable slot <slot> id
<tunnel>
Permitted Values Description

1-84 An ID that identifies the tunnel group.
This ID is unique per slot.
