This transmission rate limiting applies only to situations caused by asynchronous transmission
or shutdown when the LLDP application is stopped on a port or system in an Avaya device.

set lldp tx-hold-multiplier

Use the set lldp tx-hold-multiplier command to set the multiplier on the interval that
determines the actual TTL value sent in an LLDP frame. The time-to-live value transmitted in
TTL TLV by the device is expressed by the following formula:
TTL = min(65535, TxInterval * TxHoldMultiplier)
