Description
Whether DHCP Client is Enabled or Disabled
The status of the DHCP client:
Select. Sending DISCOVER packets.

Request. Requesting IP address after selecting from all the
●
offered packets.
Bound. Receiving ACK packet and there is no conflict detection
●
by sending ARP packets.
Rebind. 0.875 of the lease time has passed, so the renewal
●
phase entered rebind.
Renew. 0.5 of the lease time has passed, so the device is trying
●
to renew the lease until 0.875 of the lease time will have
passed.
Release. The client released the lease.

Decline. The client detected an IP conflict by sending an ARP
●
packet.
Idle. The client did not get an IP address and keeps trying after
●
an Idle time (~40 seconds) to reach new IP address.
The IP address received from the DHCP server
The subnet mask received from the DHCP server
The list of default routers received from the DHCP server
The IP address of the DHCP server
The DHCP client's domain name received from the DHCP server
The list of available DNS servers received from the DHCP server
