The signaling mode for the DS1 facility.
cas – Out-of-band signaling for E1 service,
yielding thirty 64kbps B-channels for voice
transmission
robbedbit – In-band signaling for T1 service,
yielding twenty-four 56kbps B-channels for
voice transmission
idsnpri – Use this setting for either T1 or E1
ISDN Primary Rate service (supports both FAS
and NFAS)
isdnext – NFAS T1 or E1 ISDN service for:
- T1 facility in which all 24 channels are for
bearer transport
- E1 facility in which all 31 channels are for
bearer transport
