Control Elements of the Imaging
Setup Tool
This tool displays the hardware settings of the scan
head (LSM tab), the beam path to image with the
camera (WF tab) or the Non descanned Detectors
(Non Descanned tab). The settings can be
changed in the corresponding tab and used for a
new imaging configuration.
Channel Mode
The Channel tab (Fig. 110) displays the current
hardware settings within the scan head for an
imaging track (for LSM or Non Descanned mode).
This mode uses one or more detectors as single
channels with defined imaging parameters.
Chose 1 or more Tracks for the imaging set up.
Activate the detector channels by checking the
box(es) in the Use column. Detectors can be
added/removed (depending on the hardware)
clicking the plus / minus button.
Assigne a Dye to the detector in the Dye column.
Assign a LUT color to the detector in the Color
column.
Either use the mouse to grab, expand and move
the bar(s) representing the spectral detection band
in the graphical display or type in the lower and
upper border of the detection band in the editing
fields (Fig. 111) by clicking on the number field or
the arrow in the Range column.

Set the main beam splitter(s) for the excitation of the dyes and activate the according laser lines. To select
a beam splitter, click on the icon and chose the desired one from the drop down menu.
