Scans will be performed
relative
to
the
position.
The
position will always be
displayed
as
coordinates.
A maximum (or minimum)
in the resulting curve or
plot usually indicates a
region of interest.
• When the scan has been
finished, the vertical black line
(line plot) or the cross-lines
(frame plot) can be used to
re-position the focus. Just
drag the bar or cross-lines
with the left mouse button
held
down
to
position
and
release
mouse. By clicking the Ok
button the stage or nosepiece
will move to the new position
and the scan window closes.
The Abort button will be
inactivated
for
a
scan. You can press Ok or
Abort during the scan to
interrupt the scan. Ok will
close the window and the old
position is kept. Abort does
not close the window, so you
are still able to reposition.
Press Ok to leave the scan
window.
Note that the X, Y, XZ and
YZ
options
displayed, if the Show all
box is checked.
