If 3D is selected, the information of the neighboring frames in regard to structuring information and out
of focus contribution will be used in addition to the information of the frame itself. This will result in
better x, y and z resolution and better contrast by removing the out of focus light to a greater extent at
the cost of more computational power requirement.

CHAPTER 1 - SYSTEM OPERATION
Left Tool Area and Hardware Control Tools
000000-2071-464
The Run Batch button will turn into a Stop Batch
button (Fig. 481) once pressed. If the button is
pressed, batch processing will be stopped, no
matter if Apply was pressed or not and the button
turns back to Run Batch.
In batch processing all images can only be
processed with one parameter setting. If
images, however, have been processed
already once and are linked to processing
parameters by pressing the Attach button,
those settings will be taken and the general
setting overruled. If you want to overrule
attached settings and fit all Batch files with
the set and displayed parameters, you have
to check the Use current for Batch box.
If a Z-Stack was acquired you have the option to
tell the system how the frames of the stack should
be processed from the Stack processing mode
drop down box (Fig. 482).
You have the option between First-Last and
Single.
When First-Last is selected the double-slider or
the left and right spin input boxes can be used to
define the first and last frame of the stack that
should be processed (Fig. 483).
When Single is selected, the slider or spin input
box can be used to define one frame in the stack
that should be processed (Fig. 484).
With the Mode drop down menu you have the
option to select, how the single frames of a stack
are processed (Fig. 485). You have the option
between 2D, 3D and 3D large.
Note that 3D and 3D large are only
available, when the image to be processed
contains a stack of >1 and First-Last was
selected as the Stack processing mode.
Otherwise, the Mode drop down menu
shows only 2D and is greyed.
When 2D is selected, every frame is reconstructed
with the information of that frame only and the
structuring in the thirds dimension is not used.
