1) Chose the AOM Calibration tab.
2) Set AOM Transmission to a value around 10.
3) Set the laser to the lowest wavelength possible (ideally this has already been done in the main
software).
4) Start a Continuous scan.
5) Read out the value of the power meter. This value needs to be kept constant during the
subsequent steps.
6) Activate the Auto+ option (Auto- is chosen when starting with the highest wavelength
available).
7) By clicking Add and + 10 Steps the AOM value will be added to the calibration list and the laser
is tuned 10 nm further.
8) Now adjust the AOM transmission such that the power read out of the power meter shows the
same value as with the previous wavelength.
9) Repeat step 2 and 3 until the end of the wavelength range is reached, then stop scanning.
To reuse the calibration for later use normalize the values before storing them as an .aom file in a folder
of your choice
