2D Processing Image preview
There are several options available for the display of the Airyscan data.
Source image
Source image (Fig. 619) shows the raw sum data
useful for focusing, panning, and setting of laser
power and detection gain.
SR (VP) image
SR (VP) image gives a real time impression of the
2D processing result (Fig. 620). This can be both
the SR mode and the VP mode. You can see the
improved resolution or the modified sectioning this
way.
Deselecting the checkboxes will hide the respective
image.

In addition, there are some intensity displays available. The table shows the intensity of the Airy orders
(Fig. 621).
Note that in case of inadequate sample quality or acquisition settings (e.g. overexposure) the
typical drop of intensities from low to high ring numbers is not available or reversed.
