Remove the 2 screws and shift lock unit.

Using a screwdriver and hammer, drive off the shaft control
while disengaging the claw of the shaft control and remove the
shift lever sub−assembly.

Using a screwdriver and hammer, remove the 4 collars.

REMOVE SHIFT LOCK UNIT
REMOVE SCREW AND MANUAL DETENT SPRING
REMOVE SHIFT LEVER SUB−ASSEMBLY
REMOVE DETENT ROD
Set a 14 mm deep socket wrench.
Using a punch and hammer, remove the grooved pin.
Remove the detent rod and spring.
Remove the shift lever knob sleeve from the detent rod.
