INSTALLATION

Adhesive
HINT:
Leave the adhesive on the body as much as possible.
(b)
HINT:
Even if all the adhesive has been removed, clean the body.

Install new clips onto the glass.

Install new dams and outside lower moulding with adhesive
tape as shown in the illustration.

BODY − BACK DOOR GLASS
CLEAN AND SHAPE CONTACT SURFACE OF BODY
Using a knife, cut away any rough areas on the body.
Clean the cutting surface of the adhesive with a shop rag
saturated in cleaner.
CLEAN REMOVED GLASS
Place marks for installing new clips to the glass.
Remove the damaged clips and dams.
Using a scraper, remove the adhesive sticking to the
glass.
Clean the glass with cleaner.
Do not touch the glass after cleaning it.
Be careful not to damage the glass.
If reusing the glass:
INSTALL NEW CLIPS
INSTALL NEW DAMS AND OUTSIDE LOWER MOULD-
ING
A: 2.5 mm (0.098 in.)
B: 1.7 mm (0.067 in.)
C: 7.5 mm (0.295 in.)
