SFI − HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXY-
GEN SENSOR (Bank1 Sensor1)
Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the
terminals +B and HT.
Resistance:
1ZZ−FE: 5 − 10 Ω at 20°C (68°F)
2ZZ−GE: 11 − 16 Ω at 20°C (68°F)
Torque: 44 N·m (450 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)
Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXY-
GEN SENSOR (Bank1, Sensor2)
Remove the passenger's seat.
Take out the floor carpet.
Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the
terminals +B and HT.
Resistance: 11 − 16 Ω at 20°C (68°F)
Torque: 44 N·m (450 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)
Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
Resistance the floor carpet.
Reinstall the passenger's seat.
