HINT:
Put aside the pump and suspend it to the cowl with a string.

Remove the 4 bolts, and disconnect the PS gear from the sus-
pension member.
HINT:
Suspend the PS gear securely.

Remove the 9 bolts, 3 nuts and suspension member.

2ZZ−GE:
REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD
Remove the 5 bolts and upper heat insulator.
Remove the 4 bolts and exhaust manifold stay.
Remove the 2 nuts, 4 bolts, exhaust manifold and gasket.
DISCONNECT PS PUMP
Disconnect the PS oil pressure switch connector.
Remove the 2 nuts and through bolts, and disconnect the
PS pump from the engine (See page SR−26).
REMOVE STABILIZER BAR BRACKET
(See page SA−52)
DISCONNECT PS GEAR
REMOVE SUSPENSION MEMBER
ATTACH ENGINE SLIDING DEVICE TO ENGINE
HANGER
Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 cylinder head cover.
Disconnect the PCV hoses from the cylinder head cover.
