HINT:
Check that the claw of the shaft control is fit onto the shift lever
plate.

Install the shift lock unit with the 2 screws.

− FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY
INSTALL COLLARS
INSTALL DETENT ROD
Install the shift lever knob sleeve to the detent rod.
Apply MP grease on the detent rod and spring.
Install the spring and detent rod.
Using a punch and hammer, install the grooved pin to the
detent rod pin hole.
A: 8.0 ± 0.2 mm (0.315 ± 0.008 in.)
Check the detent rod operation.
INSTALL SHIFT LEVER SUB−ASSEMBLY
Apply MP grease on the spring.
Install the shift lever sub−assembly and shaft control to
shift lever plate.
INSTALL MANUAL DETENT SPRING AND SCREW
Apply MP grease to the parts indicated by the arrows
manual detent spring and shift lever plate in the illustra-
tion.
Install the manual detent spring with the screw.
