If continuity is not as specified, replace the light assembly or the
bulb.

Using an ohmmeter, check that there is a continuity between
terminals.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the front personal light
assembly or the bulb.

INSPECT FRONT PERSONAL LIGHT SWITCH CONTI-
NUITY
Switch position Tester connection

w/o Sliding roof:
INSPECT FRONT PERSONAL LIGHT CONTINUITY
INSPECT REAR ROOM LIGHT CONTINUITY
Disconnect the connector from the room light.
Turn the room light switch to ON, check that there is a con-
tinuity between terminal 1 and 2.
INSPECT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY
Check that there is a continuity between terminals and the
switch body with the switch ON (Switch pin released:
opened door).
Check that there is no continuity between terminals and
the switch body with the switch OFF (Switch pin pushed
in: closed door).
