4 Select a method to create the wall:
To draw the wall, click
To pick lines, click
panels, and other walls.
To select a massing face or a generic model face, click
either as in-place or as family-file-based. See
544.
TIP Press TAB to highlight all vertical faces on the mass or generic model, click to place walls
simultaneously on each highlighted face.
5 To change a panel type, click Modify and select the panel. In the Type Selector, select the
appropriate panel type.
6 If you sketched a curtain wall without automatic grids
on page 705), you can add grids manually, as follows:
a Click Modelling menu
Curtain Grid.
b Open a 3D or elevation view.
c Place the cursor along wall edges; a temporary grid line is displayed.
d Click to place the grid lines.
Each section of the grid (design unit) is filled with a separate curtain wall panel of the type
selected earlier.
7 If needed for the design, add mullions to the grids, as follows:
a Click Modelling menu
b Highlight the grid line to add mullions.
Mullion resize to the grid line, and automatically splits at an intersection with another mullion.
You can change the properties of mullions. For a complete list of mullion properties and their

Non-Rectangular Curtain Walls

To create non-rectangular curtain walls, sketch a straight curtain wall and then edit its elevation profile, or
join a straight curtain wall to any roof. See
