Troubleshooting Rooms

If problems occur with rooms in a project, Revit Architecture provides explanations in dialogs, room tags,
or room schedules.
When an error occurs, you can select the tag or the schedule row that displays the error, and on the Options
Bar, click Explain Error. Revit Architecture shows the message that it displayed when the problem first
occurred. You can use standard error dialog features (like Show) to find the relevant tags.

Description
The volume of the room when volume computation is enabled. See
on page 928. A read-only value.
An assigned room number. This value must be unique for each room in a project.
Revit Architecture warns you if the number is already used but allows you to continue
using it. (See Reviewing Warning Messages

The room name, such as Conference Room or Kitchen.
User-specified information about the room.
Type of occupancy for the room, such as Retail.
Department for which the room will be used.
Finish for the base.
Finish for the ceiling, such as stucco.
Finish for the wall, such as painted.
Finish for the floor, such as carpeting.
Name of the person, group, or organization that will use the room.
The project phase to which the room belongs. A read-only value based on view
