2 Insert a new line between any 2 existing commands.
3 Type the new command using the examples above, or modify existing lines.
4 Save and close the file.
5 Restart Revit Architecture.

Keyboard Accelerators

Revit Architecture features many preset keyboard commands to increase your efficiency. The following tables
lists these commands.

At the top of the file you will see several paragraphs with each line preceded by a semi-colon.
A list of commands begins after the text. Command lines are not preceded with semi-colons.
Command syntax is as follows:
"key(s)" menu:"menu-string"
Fkey menu:"menu-string
For example, in the following command line, "M" launches the menu command, Edit
"M" menu:"edit-move"
Function key (F2-F12) command syntax does not require the shortcut key in quotes. For example,
in the following command line, the shortcut key F5 has no quotes. F5 launches the menu
command, View Refresh.
F5 menu:"view-refresh"
The KeyboardShortcuts.log file (located in the same directory as KeyboardShortcuts.txt) contains
any errors encountered while reading the KeyboardShortcuts.txt file.
Action
Select multiple elements
Cycle through the highlighting of elements to select among ones that are close to one another.
NOTE If you are selecting multiple elements and need to use the Tab key, do not hold the CTRL key
while pressing TAB.
Highlight wall faces or wall centerlines when placing dimensions
Toggle between selecting a curtain wall or a glazed panel in a plan view
Reverse the order in which TAB cycles through the highlighting of elements
Select all rows in the Worksets dialog.
Move.
