3 To return to the original settings, click Default.
Specifying the Detail Level for a View
1 Click View menu
2 Select Coarse, Medium, or Fine for the Detail Level parameter.
Alternatively, on the View Control Bar at the bottom of the drawing area, click the Detail Level icon and
select an option, as shown in the following image.

Options
You can configure global settings for your Revit installation. Global settings include
General options: Save notifications, user name, and journal file clean-up.
Graphics options: Configure your video card for improved display performance, and configure colors
for selection, background, and error messages.
File location options: Specify paths for files and directories.
Rendering options: Specify paths for files used for render appearances and decals, and specify the location
of the ArchVision Content Manager (ACM), if needed.
Spelling options: Specify options for the spell checker.
SteeringWheels options: Specify options for the SteeringWheels view navigation tools.
ViewCube options: Specify options for the ViewCube navigation tool.
You can specify options at all times, including when the drawing area is blank.
