11. Then, disconnect the dial-up connection. To do this, right-click the connection symbol
in the task bar, click Disconnect or Disconnect from and then select the name of
the connection.
Configuring ISDN System Telephones via the PBX (Internal)
Requirements:
– Installed COMfortel Set configuration software as of version 2.5
– Knowledge of the user, sub-admin or admin PIN
– An existing Ethernet connection between the PC and the PBX or a USB connection on the
PC to one of the internal system telephones including the complete installation of the drivers
required for the device on the PC
Note: For a USB connection, this refers to the USB driver and possibly the
CAPI-2.0 driver. To install the drivers, refer to the driver installation and
Internet access instructions (CAPI/TAPI) that came with the device.
– For the Ethernet connection between the PC and the PBX: Configured configuration port for
system telephones
1. Start the COMfortel Set configuration software.
2. Open the menu Options > Interface....
3. Depending on the existing connection, proceed as described in the following.
• USB connection: In the Interface list field, select the USB option.
• USB connection using the CAPI-2.0 driver installed: In the list field Interface,
select the ISDN card (CAPI 2.0) option.
• Ethernet connection via the PBX: In the Interface list field, select the IP network
option, and then in the IP address entry field, enter the IP address of the PBX and
in the IP port (Default: 7002) entry field, enter the configuration port for system
telephones on the PBX.
4. Click OK.
5. Open the menu File > Open.
6. Click Telephone.
