Switching En-bloc Dialling On/Off

5. Enter a value in the Interval for SIP session timer entry field under SIP. The
following entries are possible:
5
to 60: The SIP session timer checks every 5 to 60 minutes to see whether a
connection still exists.
Note: When the SIP session timer is enabled, an increased number of
disrupted calls may occur after the interval configured if a VoIP provider has
not implemented session renewal properly. In this case, you should disable
the SIP session timer.
Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Switching En-bloc Dialling On/Off
If, for example, problems occur in sub-system operation with overlap sending, en- bloc dialling
can permanently be enabled. The digits dialled are transferred en-bloc to the provider in order
to establish a connection after the delay time after last digit dialled.
The delay time after last digit dialled is the amount of time until the PBX detects the end of
dialling. The time measurement restarts after each digit entered. After the configured time has
passed, the PBX detects the digit just dialled as the last digit and allows no further entry..
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for VoIP providers
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP provider.
2. Click
in the line of the corresponding VoIP provider.
It opens the page Provider configuration > Provider.
3. Open the page Provider configuration > Network.
